Psalms 23:

The Lord is my shepherd;

There is nothing I lack.

He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.

He renews my life; He leads me along the right paths for His name’s sake.Image result for Still water

Even when I go through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff- they comfort me.

You prepare a table for me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.  Only goodness and faithful love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of YHVH as long as I live.

Psalms 50

If I were hungry I would not tell you, for the world and everything in it is Mine.

Do I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats?  Sacrifice a thank offering to Elohim, and pay your vows to The Most High.  Call on Me in a day of trouble; I will rescue you, and you will honor Me.

But Elohim says to the wicked: ” What right do you have to recite my statutes and take My covenant on your lips?  You hate instruction and turn your back on My words.

When you see a thief you make friends with him, and associate with adulterers.

You unleash your mouth for evil and harness your tongue for deceit.

You sit, maligning your brother, slandering your mother’s son.Image result for the power of the mind

You have done these things and I kept silent; you thought I was just like you.  But I will rebuke you and lay you out the case before you.

Understand this you who forgets Elohim, or I will tear you apart, and there will be no rescuer.

Whoever sacrifices a thank offering honors Me, and whoever orders his conduct, I will show him the salvation of Elohim.”

The first Psalm is a beautiful recounting of a Shepherd boy and his relationship to YHVH.  Surely the boy recognizes chastisement as a good thing, and loves Elohim for divesting the enemy of power against him.  But why?  Why does Elohim give the boy power over his ememies?

The second Psalm describes Elohim’s relationship to the bulk of His people.  It is commonplace in Israel to bring sacrifices during feasts and special events.  It would be wierd not to.  Elohim says here that it is both good and bad to bring him offerings.  Does that mean one man can be both good and bad in bringing an offering?  No! Cain and Able both brought offerings to YHVH, but only one of them was acceptable.  This is a Psalm, not from a righteouss man to Elohim, but prophetic pleadings from Elohim to an unrighteous man.  <The Son of Man did not come to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him>

Has conviction found its way into your heart?  It feels terrible, but stop fighting it and bring an acceptable offering unto The Mighty Ones.

Hiya reader and master of English.  Have you ever read the book of Nahum? The Book of Nahum is a super quick read. It describes a battle God is waging against Nineveh to bring them to congruence with Him.  Nahum (the author and protagonist alongside Jesus) describes the vision of God in an exceedingly powerful and poetic style only made capable through grace.

Plenty of beautiful language here such as: <The Lord hath His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. . . The mountains quake at Him and Image result for chaotic whirlwindthe hills melt and the earth is burned at His presence . . . Draw thee waters for the siege, fortify thy strongholds, go into clay and tread the mortar, make strong the brick-kiln.>

When reading Nahum we can imagine our bodies as the battle ground. You see, God is waging war on His enemies within us.  The time is right!  Clean a space for The Holy Spirit, The Word, Jehovah-Jireh, Elohim. Viewing ourselves as temples that need cleaning can change the thought process significantly for us when reading such acerbic language against the foes of Yeshua that lie within.  <“For while they be folden together as thorns, and while they are drunken as drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry.”>  What happens after a field’s dry stubble is removed?  The field is bare.  It is time to plant the seeds of righteousness in our hearts, in our minds, weaving The Word throughout our very flesh and bone.

This theme is all over the place in scripture. The Theme is allegorical. The hard to describe process a person goes through if he or she chooses to heed their calling day in and day out for many months can more easily be described through such allegory.  Here it is again in Jeremiah:  In the first chapter, Jeremiah recalls what it was like when God came Image result for fresh dirtto him in a dream and placed His anointing on Jeremiah: <Behold I have put My words in your mouth.  See, I have set you this day over nations and over kingdoms…>

Once the anointing was placed the question of what to do with the anointing remained. <To pluck up and break down, to destroy and to overthrow …>  Why would The Father want to do so much destruction?  <to build and to plant.>

Nahum is nothing but death and destruction against the enemy.  You’ll have to go to another book to read about what happens after man’s whoring is destroyed.

May God bless your life today, yesterday and tomorrow!  He created this world and everything in and around it.  There are events now adays that end up in the vast majority of the public and sometimes they are metaphorically useful to us in our walk with God.  If you are not familiar with Aron’s Journey with the boulder check it out here first so we are on the same page whilst learning how Jesus can teach us through Aron’s excruciating journey.

Let’s Begin

The boulder represents God.  Not just God though.  It represents the power of the people who pray for us and God; It represents God being with us while we allow Him to break our flesh and rid our demons, our spirit hindering habits in determination to live a life more pleasing to Him;  It represents faith.  It represents God.

Sometimes we find ourselves in a canyon and we decide to climb out before the boulder traps us.  We decide to climb out while we are still nascent. We have the choice to stay in that canyon, follow the call of Christ and admit to ourselves that we are wrong and that we need Christ in our lives to bring out of us the potentials that are embedded within.  Repentance is beautiful and emotional.  We die in there.  If we are a rose, some of the petals that make us up wither, die and fall away, making room for a new blossoming of the person Christ has already prepared for us.  We just kind of shift our thoughts, actions, words, motivations, schedule to be more like that person God has waiting for us to turn into.

The person being pinned down in the hole represents the process (not the event) of becoming a spiritually minded son of Jesus.  It takes a while. Don’t expect it to happen over night.   For me it started in 2010 and I was washed of my sins in 2014.  That’s longer than any pregnancy of any animal on earth. Being reborn is tough.  You become separated from your world.  For me, God pinned me down and broke my flesh in a very lonely place.

When Aron has a vision of his son this represents new life.  Aron was about to give up, and then he sees the future.  In that future is his unborn son.  This son, represents the newborn, spiritual creation that gives us hope for the future and motivates us to keep God in mind.  Once this new life is envisioned, the game is on.  Determination blossoms.

The major crux in the story is the decision Aron made to give up his arm.  Aron is a climber.  giving up his arm means giving up who he is as a climber.  This is like a shark giving up a fin;  A guitarist losing fingers on his fretting hand;  A cashier giving up their ability to count money while being friendly;  A professional allowing themselves to become dumb;  A sail boat cutting its sail in half.

Imagine this.  Clear your mind and see Aron walking.  He is now nose up on a brick wall.  He can die there at the wall.  The wall shows him that there is indeed a new life beyond that wall.  In order to get past the wall he has to become a different person in the same body.  Aron says “Yeah, I can be a new person”  The wall says “You don’t understand, Aron, how difficult it is to be a new person. Taking your arm will change the structure of your life socially and athletically.  It will force you to become who you must be.”

To receive new life we as people must be willing to be new lives.  To give up a portion of who we are as people.  Aron gave up who he was as a climber to break free.  Jesus does a lot of the work for us, but He does not do it all for us.  He lays the foundations of our new lives and we have to toil in order to get there.

Look at the earth for another example of toiling to bring out something embedded within.  God laid the foundations of the earth with rocks and dirt and trees.  We made I-phones.  Our technologies took a while to come to fruition and we aren’t always concentrating on that goal but bettering technology is a major theme most of the time.

Think about that for a minute.

There is no finish line in this life when it comes to follwing The King of ALL Kings and The Lord of Lords. We become closer to God and that never ends here on earth.

3,000 People In An Upper Room, Eh?

Let me set the record straight: I am not saying that there were a bunch of evil men that Image result for tongues of firegot together and interpreted the Bible “ingeniously wrong” to lead us all astray.  I am saying that the English translations of God’s Holy word are not wholly right.  Praise God that the book has been translated that way, believe it or not.  Why?    We are creatures who thrive on hard work, both physically and mentally.  Every person loves a treasure hunt, and what better treasure to hunt for than the one that makes us more and more acceptable in His sight?

The Upper Room Error

“Oikos” means house in Greek.  The scripture in Acts ( originally Greek) reads <When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were altogether in one place.  And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled The entire Oikos where they were sitting.>  The Greek reads Oikos which can mean house, thus the word oikos in this sentence was translated to house.  This is wrong.  Sounds like a circle of silliness, eh?

Let me explain using a timeline. First, in the previous chapter, The apostles had just seen Jesus ascend with the clouds and <when they had entered, they went up to the upper room.>  Then, some intimate, inner circle, upper room things occurred. Next, we pick up the verse just before the verse containing Oikos which states <When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were altogether in one place.>  Lastly, we learn that <suddenly their came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind…>  You see, the translators were in the maelstrom of thought that the upper room was in a house (oikos) where the intimate relationships of the apostles were being played out, which is true; However, what the translators failed to see is that the outpouring of the Spirit of Holiness was not in the intimate setting of the upper room or even in the house where the upper room is, even though the upper room events happened at about the same time as The Oikos event.

“The Oikos” has been uppercased in this article like it is the title of a place.  That’s because The Holy Spirit’s outpouring happened, not just at any ol’ oikos, but at “The Image result for tongues of fireOikos.”  If you go to Jerusalem and get into a cab and ask them in Hebrew to take you to “The House” they will take you to The Temple.  People call The Temple “The House.”  In Hebrew it is “HaBeit”: The House.  The Outpouring happened at The Temple, not the upper room.

When a Greek speaking person comes to a town where they speak Hebrew and Greek  as a secondary language, they would call The Temple The Oikos if speaking in Greek for the sake of the Greek speaking person.  Further, the outpouring of The Holy Spirit happened not just on any day.  It happened on Pentecost or Shavuot.  Shavuot is about The Lord giving His children The Law on Mount Sinai.  We celebrate this day, throughout our generations forever by, (a) not working, (b) assembling together, and (c) bringing God gifts of our best flour, grain, sheaf, and lamb. God is Our Abba.  He told everyone to gather on Shavuot, and those devout people were gathered at The Temple.  What they received for being obedient that day was the outpouring. Being obedient most likely was not a burden.  It’s not like He asked His children to do anything crazy: get together and have a party in His honor.  Since the event at The House so many years ago, the giving of the law seems less important to folks nowadays, and the focus of this feast tends to be on the outpouring.

It makes more sense that The Lord was spreading this gift in the public setting of the temple. The Temple where people were supposed to be according to His instructions (gathering). It is His instructions and the putting of the word on people’s hearts that lead people from all cultures to be in the Hebrew Temple that day. For having that kind of faith they were rewarded with an event that would forever solidify their faith, causing the brotherhood’s growth to defiantly work against the enemies plans for them.

How Wine from Water Teaches Us To Be Humble

Take 15 minutes to read this article, watch the video, and learn how to apply these concepts to your life.  It will make things so much better in more ways than one.

5 things we can learn from the following verses:

1. A great way to show one another love and favor

2. Be honest with others about who you are from first meeting one another

3. If we do what Jesus commands we can perform miracles

4. Our subordinates help us to learn

5. Be humble

There is a quick video clip here for you to see, just a few scrolls down this page.

Let’s read the passage with these 5 things in mind.  If you have already read the passage skip down to where it says “Gleanings” in bold. The insight that this miracle affords just keeps blossoming.   You are gonna have fun with this knowledge for a while.  Each lesson leads to more.  It will help you to unfold your understanding of who Jesus is and how spirituality can be used to get closer to Him.  All praise and honor is Yours Almighty Father, we love You and thank You for loving us!

This is John 2;1-11 from the KJV

1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:

2 And both Jesus was called, and His disciples, to the marriage.

3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.

4 Jesus saith unto her, woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever He saith unto you, do it.

6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.

7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.

8 And He saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.

9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,

10 And saith unto him, every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth His glory; and His disciples believed on Him.

The Gleaning:

1.When Jesus performed this sign He did it in such a way that kept many of the people present out of the loop of knowledge that a miracle had even occurred.  This made it so that the bridegroom could take credit for having such a supply of fine wine.  Socially this must of had all kinds of implications for the bridegroom.  This is an example of how we can treat one another in Ha Mashiak’s (Christ’s) love.  By putting a lot of thought and effort into trying to get the people around us to show respect and favor to a friend, loved one, or an enemy we are doing Christ’s work.

2. We learn also something very simple.  You see, if we do as Christ commands, miracles will be performed by Him through us.  Jesus never touched the wine.  He ordered the servants to fill the jugs, then the cups.  The remuneration of these acts caused the water to be turned into wine even finer than the original wine set out.  We also learn that the chief servant was a drunk, as it was the third day of the party and he was still drinking and able to tell the difference between good and bad wine.  straight up professional drinker that head servant was!

3.This leads us to another lesson.  We can learn from our subordinates.  This message is in many, many of the scriptures. Sometimes subordinates know much more about what is going on than we do. Our Father has the power to put the scales over our eyes so that we don’t see something while everyone else does.  He is always allowing us the chance to become humble if we so choose to accept His offer.  It was the servants that filled the jugs with water and only them that knew what had occurred.  At the time of the event, nobody else knew.

4.Humbling ourselves is important as a heart set in pride is great soil for the seed of sin.  Pride hardens us in our ways, unfortunately.  Instead, we are to be ready to adapt to what Christ wants of us at any moment and at any time.  We are to be chameleons of action and our color is to be chosen by what we know is true and right through our daily devotion to prayer and readings in the Living Word.

5. As an example of how Jesus wants us to act among one another He purposely turned the wine into better wine than usual.  Imagine the social implications of this!  Most everyone likes to alter their state of being. Fermented wine was one of the only ways to do this.  Many people worshiped alcohol and therefore became like it.  The social implications of this act would leave people singing about how the bridegroom set out inferior wine before fine wine.  We are to consider allowing other saints to see who we are, good and bad, from the beginning.  This will create a situation where we are more forgiving of the errors and faults our brothers and sisters make.  We are to be forgiving and keep on trying when people pick up our fault like a knife and stab us with it.  This takes great strength and trust that we can only receive from having faith and believing in The Savior.  It will be hard and it will help you to believe more fully in The Savior.  Remember in Proverbs 27:6 it says:

<The wounds of a friend are trustworthy>
When you do what The Savior tells you to do and get wounded, remember that The Savior is your friend and can act through your friends and your enemies.

Our faith leads straight to the Father.  That Faith is reliant upon Him.  He is the tether that brings us to Him.

In the last three months she had developed a clairaudiance.  Dodging, bobbing and weaving so to speak, in an effort to keep her son from the guards; From the soldiers; from the wise men; and the sorcerers.  It had served her well.  Now, though, came the time for her to put the babe in the hands of The Lord in a tough way.

Yeshua had motivated her to do some peculiar things, especially as of recent.  Never misleading her, she had learned to trust Him.  This though was not an easy step.  Some weren’t.  It seemed to be murder.  Nevertheless, the voice of God would not abate.  It was clear that she must place her son in the river.

The rain was warm on the Levite woman’s brow.  There was an easy mist forming in pockets as she was lead to the river’s edge.  Her motivation was that of any mother’s.  The idea of allowing the Egyptians to take her newborn son’s life was not an option.  Was she the only one striving to keep hers?

She walked briskly, holding the babe under her garments.  Drawing closer and closer to the Nile, she was nearing the place where people might see her.  The Levite woman’s clothes were damp, yet they still hung over her with ease.  The Levite woman looked for a good place where she could place the child.  Hearing footsteps, slow and meticulously placed in the wet sand and mud: squish, drain, pop, another pop and a long squish, “Oh no” she thought. She needed a place to hide and a distraction so her movements weren’t heard.  She tossed a small cobble into the air.  It arced up and over the path and into the sage brush on the other side.  She made a jump for a small hill next to her, not nearly enough for shelter but she landed and rolled flat with the baby in her arms at the same time that the cobble brushed through the foliage and plopped into the mud.  She hugged the ground and her energy was kept low.  The baby didn’t make a sound, the Egyptian passed, spooked and without a glance in her direction.

The desert was a land full of superstitions.  Over the generations these superstitions had woven themselves into the very nature of the Egyptian.  This, she had found was right in front of her all the time.  Once she could see it was so plain.  It worked to her advantage remarkably.

She was not even on alert at moments like this anymore.  Her energy was very balanced.  If she had been caught the Egyptians would have dealt with her in a most licentious way.  God had her heart and mind.  It was not easy to walk so close to Him.  She was derided by the leaders, both religious and non.  She was in constant warfare with herself. Against the wiles of her carnal mind:  it telling her how childish this God stuff was;  Yet, He prevailed when she was with Him in mind, and even when she wasn’t.

The basket she had made the day before was still there, waiting for to take it’s place in history.  What was His name?  She placed him in the basket.  She took a moment and just sat.  This was another step in her personal journey with The Creator.  There was a chorus happening all around her.  The falling drops on the water, in the vegetation, on the land, and over her son’s golden brown skin.

The river tugged him in as she shed her motherly tears.

A small, condensed ray raced toward the earth from the sky.  The water caught in it was, for a moment, a swirl of of beautiful bright colors.

“What have I done” The Levite woman wailed.  Her guts and better judgement immediately lashed out at her for being such a fool.  She prayed that she be given the strength to understand and abide in God’s will.   But alas it is written <For, I think, God has exhibited us apostles last of all, as men condemned to death; because we have become a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men.  We are fools for Christ’s sake.>

And goes the journey of the faithful.  She then remembered the situation at hand and that her options were slim to none.  She remembered the construction of trust that had developed between Her husband, YHVH, and herself.  She chose to allow her mind to be put at ease and she continued to morn the loss of her son.

Prayer:

Hi Lo, reader.  How are we today?  Let’s say a prayer that Yeshua really lords over our lives for the remainder of this week.  That He brings us into deep fellowship with the church through His word.  He is king and loves us and we thank Him for that.  Change is what we seek, we want our knowledge of who He is to grace our minds and to bring us into a deeply intertwined communion with the Holy Spirit.

Genesis 1:

 {In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.  And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.  And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.  And God called the light day, and the darkness he called night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.}

Please, before reading ,watch this beautiful video that will aid us in this study.  If you don’t care to watch the whole thing just skip to four minutes and fifty seconds: Reuben Margolin: Motion Sculptor.

That is an artists perspective on this natural occurrence.  Here is another perspective from the scope of people who study God’s creation and all its behavior’s (most of them miss this point: that if God created such awe inspiring things than He must be eons greater than His own creation, and more complicated too!).  The only difference for this video that we might suggest is that at four minutes and twenty five seconds Dr. Quantum says “the electron decided to act differently”.  As we believers know, the electron was created, by Yahova, to act whichever way it acts in a given situation.  Check this out!: Double Slit Experiment.

If you are anything like me, you skipped over the verse above thinking I already have read that.  Tens of times.  Let’s concentrate on something: <And the earth was without form, and void>  Wow, that is deep.  Is scripture meaning to tell us that the world was created, yet had not come into tangible existence yet?  Let’s look at the earthly definitions of formless and then of void.  Formless: without a clear or definite shape or structure (adj).  According to that definition it seems so.  An idea is formless, right?  Unwritten and written rules and laws are formless, yet they govern everything we do.  Lastly, There are a lot of things in the world of spirituality that are formless.

Now lets look at Void: A completely empty space (adj).  The earth, on the first day, was without a clear or definite shape or structure and was completely empty space.  We can then conclude that the earth existed before it existed.  Much like a bench that a carpenter makes exists, in his mind, before it exists.  Not really like that, it was more like it had existence yet was not . . . how do we say, matter.  That’s all, it wasn’t quite matter yet.  It was well on it’s way to becoming matter.

In studying these first few words of the Bible lets think that God is inviting us to understand the reality that we easily exist within, full of form and very tangible, is patterned after something that may not be quite like that.

Acts 17: 6

< And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;>

The way that things ordinarily function tend to change when disciples are around.  The people in control don’t care much for that.  hehe.  Now we are slightly straying from the point so let us get back on target.

Let us look at numbers.  The book itself probably attests for this idea in a great many ways however, we are going to look at a different numbers.  Spiritual things are not matter, but they have representations of themselves all around us.   We cannot buy 4 (the number).  We cannot hold 12.  We are not capable of creating 7.  We can though, hold 3 apples and the number three does a real fine job at pinning down the idea that is 3.  The closest we can get to holding 5 would be to make something into the shape of a 5 and then hold it.  In that case we are holding the representation of five.  Another way to hold the representation of five would be to hold 5 things.

If it were cameras some one might say “what’s with the cameras?” missing the whole five thing completely.  If you were holding something that were in the shape of a five someone might say “whats with the five?”  This idea of it being a representation is close to the point.

As we go further into the first few verses of scripture we learn that {darkness was upon the face of the deep.}  This was before there was any form yet.  There was yet to be an amount of matter to settle into a something to create a tangible deep.  So what can we take from this?  Lets take the representation of what deep is.  When we have a heady experience in conversation or God places something intense like an epiphany into a believer’s mind a man may think or say “man, that was deep” .  Darkness was on the face of that; and on the face of a group of liquids that have settled together into a something that holds enough of it for God to consider it deep.  Now we know that probably everything known to man is simply a representation of something spiritual.

Water is definitely a representation of something very powerful: it has polarity, is life sustaining, cleansing, dense, viscous, see through, dependable, and tangibly carries waves.  It says that The Spirit of God moved on the face of that.  What does it mean by “the face”?  I can bet that it means something close to “what the surface of something shows, or what can be gathered at first glance.”  <And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.>  Beyond that we read that there was light and a separation of it being good from the darkness.  The first day.

What we know light to be is photons that come in packets.  So aside from those little photon packets in the first day God didn’t create anything our human bodies would be able to exist in.  It is quite possible that those photons weren’t yet poking into the reality that had not yet been stretched out yet.  Who knows?  All we know is that it is some really cool stuff to think about.

We are so incredibly privileged to live in a world where we can come into direct relationship with Yeshua, Our God, who pokes through into our world presently in the form of acts of Fatherly advice and rearing, kindness, oppression and opportunity, Love and the need to change.  God we love You and thank You for Your patience with us as we try and make changes that are suitable to You.  Sanctify us for Your work.  You are everything, we lift up Your name and ask You to make it our will to properly sing Your praises.  JOY!

Ahoy, Maytees and shiver mee timbers on this fine May day.  Please pray for me to plug back into my communities’ bible studies, prayer groups, and God loving people’s daily schedules.  Please pray for my friend’s knees and ankles and May God bless you richly for having Him on the forefront of your mind.

Spiritual life is like being in a large room filled with pillars that are holding glasses.  some glasses are filled with water and others are not.  You go to one and drink from it with the others who are drinking from that glass and you are filled.  Now able to relate with the others who are drinking from that glass you have a social connection and you stick around for a few months or a few years.  Eventually the glass stops filling you.

A little scared and a little excited about a new experience you change your group, your social structure, and drift to another pillar holding another glass.  after many decades you have tried most all of the glasses.

Some podiums you have avoided because the people around those podiums obviously are not happy.  You remember being filled at other podiums, and knowing you will not be filled properly you go anyway because it is all you know.  There is one podium that is said to bring a life full of love and joy and peace.  Unfortunately the people who drink from that cup have heavy burdens to bear.  You start to think about maybe jumping into that group as you have tried everything else.  In studying those who have drank from that cup you notice that although their burdens are great they seem content and balanced.  How can this be?

Although they are living within the burden the cup’s life is living within them.  It created them, all the other cups, and the burdens for each of the people carrying those burdens.  The life in the cup has prepared the drinker to handle those burdens.  The burdens will completely crush them if they stray from that cup.  All of the people who drink from the cup of life struggle to not return to the other cups in the room which is why the cup of life has designed the burdens they begin bearing to be heavy enough to crush them if they stray to another cup.

You decide it is time to try that cup.  You learn that you must give everything to this cup and with some resistance and doubt you give it a try.  You feel contentment, peace, an overwhelming wave of self awareness shows you who you really were and who you can be.  You feel filthy, ashamed, exposed, but somehow you are being loved capriciously and abundantly for it.  Over time the spiritual being that is in the cup weaves itself into you and you begin to see the other podiums for what they really are and you slowly become an unwelcome guest to each of them for any extended period of time.  All you want is for the people who are attending the other podiums to have the fullness of life that you are experiencing.  The cup of life you are drinking from changes your thought patterns and you become truly content (having God’s peace) in any situation and under any circumstance.  You are happy knowing that you have eternal life and a place in forever to pass into when you shed your flesh to free your spirit to Jesus Christ.

The Power of The Tongue and it’s Affect On The World

Know that I am seeking to do Jesus’ will so most of this should be from Him and is learned through praying and setting my mind on scripture and the lessons we can learn from Him.

Proverbs 18:21 – Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Proverbs 15:1 – A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

James 3:6 – And the tongue [is] a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

Proverbs 25:15 – By long forbearing is a prince persuaded, and a soft tongue breaketh the bone.

Proverbs 12:18 – There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise [is] health.

James 3:8 – But the tongue can no man tame; [it is] an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

We can’t tame our tongues, However if we are in a state of believing, Jesus has our tongues.  There are about a few hundred verses where God tells us how powerful words are: !

Many times when we are chit chatting in a large group we tend to tell stories.  Sometimes elaborate and completely false. other times there are bits and pieces of truth to them.  It is interesting, though, when a person is able to speak in such a way that his/her words will weave into what is occurring in life.  This can be attributed to the mysterious structure of the world around us and the experienced power that the tongue may sometimes have over that structure.  God made us with a tongue that does have the power to affect the physical and spiritual world.

The process I am about to share is quite simple, and when applied to life will make it more meaningful in whatever way God created you to feel meaning;  This being either through adventure, meeting people, mission working, raising children, etc.  The power of the tongue can be made more powerful (I presume this.  It might not be in scripture, however is learned through experience) if the reverberations it is sending into the world come from a river of consciousness that is speaking truly.  It can be used powerfully both to curse and to bless those here on earth with you.

If this process were a math equation it would look like this:

words that are lies = some power

words that are truth = more power

words that are truth + that truth being rooted in action from God = awesome grace

Read on and it may make more sense.  This occurrence is one of those things we sometimes notice but are never really sure if others are aware it’s going on or even that they are doing it.  This is because it is one of those unspoken things that happens here on earth.  If you are just now starting to notice this or have never noticed this occurrence let this be a warning.  Watching this power take hold around you is scary and the more you notice it the scarier it gets.  It will make you draw nearer to God though and His grace will flood the path you are on that He is creating for you.

Anyone can receive a blessing.  Take comfort in knowing that no one who does not deserve a curse can receive one.  That is scripture. ( Proverbs 26:2 open up your Bible and check it out)   So if you are in the midst of seeing this power take hold in your life and you are running around trying to defend yourself from the evil about you by bending your actions and words to defeat evil; know that the best defense is to do everything in your power to love Our Father In Heaven.  This key in life lays foundation for everything.

Everyone struggles with their faith (see post on faith).  However, the more time you spend believing, the more righteousness you receive.  The more righteousness you accept into your life by allowing yourself to be softened in order to be molded into a new person the more powerful God’s grace is within you. (that is my personal experience)

Important note:  God is powerful, we are weak and filthy.  If we allow God to receive the glory of our actions by humbling ourselves when He acts through us the more tightly and fully intertwined He is in a life.  That is a key in building blocks of faith.  Humbling oneself when you have every opportunity to take credit and pride brings you closer to Jesus.

Back to the power of the tongue and living in such a way as to store up articles in your “file cabinet of truth”.  Check this out:  If you believe in Jesus Christ, repent of your sins, and put a serious effort towards believing in Him (putting forth the effort will slowly take hold in your life once you believe in Him.  The believing in Him will also give you a desire to repent.  You know this already, I am sure because you are reading this.  Praise God!) then He will be with you more often than not.

So this is where things get really supernatural.  If you go out today and live in prayer, with Jesus on the mind and Love from Him in your heart, than your actions will be backed up by the power of the Creator!  Now if something happens that is really worth talking about remember that experience.  If this is your first experience where your intention was to do God’s work by believing and acting on what that belief tells you then you have added your first article to God’s “file cabinet of truth” (you have to say that with a loud low echoing voice, haha) inside of you.  The cabinet tends to grow and grow and grow.  Then, one day, you’re in a situation where you can pull from “God’s file cabinet of truth” and weave an article into a conversation among friends. ( yes, God’s cabinet.  Yes, that does mean that God and you share something because it is your “file cabinet of truth”. righteous, right?  oh yeahhhh )

Hopefully it will be used as a tool to build a brother or sister up, or maybe to help a hateful person to feel love. Not in a “look at me show you how you love somebody” kind of way, but in a way where you are just trying to love them.  Genuinely from inside of you trying to show them love and favor, without thinking about changing who they are.  Hateful people have trouble accepting genuine love.  They deserve love and it is a challenge to stay loving and balance being still loving and stern in a relationship with a person filled with hate.  If you are a hateful person, you may want to consider putting a few months aside to forgive people (yes, it takes a few months of unfolding the facets of forgiveness to start a truly healing process for some of us) who are close or were close to you.  Holding a grudge is like drinking poison and expecting it to hurt the person you are grudging against.

So on the day that you are throwing this article of truth on the table in front of friends you have Jesus on the forefront of your mind.  On the day that God and you created that article together you had Jesus there with you helping to guide your actions and words;  It all comes together in a symphony of power worthy, maybe of the intercession of angels; because you are allowing God to work through the power of the tongue that He created and gave you.  Something miraculous may occur, something really subtle may occur, nothing may occur right then and there but it will affect you or someone somewhere the way that God intends for them to be affected.  It is key to not accept the favor only in the name of Christ and ensure that others understand it is God working.  It is key for you also to understand that you are powerless without Him.

Love fills the room, people aren’t feeling rebuked, maybe something mysterious is even happening.  As time slips on people who have ears to hear and eyes to see will most definitely take note of how powerfully God used you to affect the world around you.  Bringing you and others further into the fold of God’s Love.  People may even think its too coincidental, considering factors like the unlikelihood of  the article and the way it is tying into life, for it to be truthful;  However, it doesn’t matter, all that matters is that you’re a worker for the Lord and are leading a life filled with meaning and meaningful experiences that is pleasing to The Lord.

A bull shot story that is being told by someone just to help keep life from being mundane holds the power of an firecracker.  A truthful story holds more power than that.  An article, though, an article has angels.  Powerful spiritual beings who work for the creator of the universe backing it up.  It will surely leak into the future as God sees fit.  Furthermore, the bull shot story is lying and a lie may be a seed or a branch to a tree being grown that will bear evil fruit.  When you are living for God, your active believing is helping grow trees in you that bear fruit that is pleasing to The One Who Created The Universe.

Motives

Let us clear our minds for a moment.  Now that our minds are clear let us imagine a point.  This point or dot is a representation of an action.   From this point  we can draw, lets say, 5 lines radiating all different directions.  These lines are representations of the roots or branches that support and create the fruit, the point.  One of those lines represent righteousness, the others represent paths that are not leading to life.

In other words, the point represents the tangible outcome of our motives, thoughts, feelings.  The fruit of these things is visible to the world around us and we are about to learn why we are in no position to judge another’s action.  Surprising as it is, especially the good actions.  It is because many different motives and goals may share the same outcome.

It says in Genesis that the human heart is evil.  That being known understand that we can only do good when Christ acts through us.  Funny story:  After this being revealed to me I began fully trying to channel Christ Jesus into my life by doing exactly what the Bible says to do: believe on Jesus Christ.  His Crucifixion is the key for me.  I could be wrong, but knowing that He takes away my sin helps me to not be held captive by sin’s guilt and shame.  It no longer directs my conversations, actions, relationships.  My life.  It is His life and I am a vessel, experiencing the outcomes of His direction.

Driving down a rail yard I noticed some graffiti.  It was so beautiful.  It said I love virgins.  I couldn’t help but laugh.  I have been taking pictures of rail yard graffiti for quite some time now as I plan on making a picture book of it, connecting all the pictures in such a way that is glorifying to Elohim.

I love virgins, in writing, is an outward expression of whats going on inside.

Its a point.

there are two lines leading to this point.

One line is righteous.   Why?  because God loves virgins too!

That’s why I laughed.  I looked, took a picture, and reflected on how funny it was that the horny graffiti artist, driven most likely by lust, wrote something that could easily have shown up in scripture.  God’s motivations would be, well, somewhat different.  God’s motivation would be driven by His want to show us how important purity is:  Blessed are the unwed virgins, to whom I love, for they shall inherit cunning conversation.  It would read something like that (that is not found in any Bible)

If you are looking to spread the gospel you may find yourself walking an old lady across the street.  If you are trying to impress a hot woman, you, serving lust, may find yourself walking an old lady across the street.  If your trying to show the community you are of a good upbringing so that you can get an investor for a business you may find yourself walking an old lady across the street.  Each of those scenarios has the same outward expression.  Each of them could be you working for the evil one.  Sounds wrong, but lets hear this idea out.  The only way that it could be you working for the kingdom of heaven is if your motivation is a fruit of believing on Christ: Yeshua Ha-Mashiach.

I want to build a Christian surf hostel in each of the four corners of the world.  One day while showering I was sitting in cross legged position and imagining the building, complete with a church and me there.  I imagined a girl from my high school ,who lived in Costa at the time, showing up and saying ” wow this is amazing, look at all that you have built.”  I answered with exactly what I know to be the Christ like thing to say at that moment.  This is the tower of the story.  This is where God showed me a fault in me that could only be corrected through believing.  Let all those with ears to hear listen and know this.  I said “It was Christ who built all of this through me.”  those words were an outward expression of what?  Of me trying to glorify me.  I knew it would find her ears well.  My goal was to get her to respect me.  My goal is supposed to be to get her to see the glory and marvel at Yeshua.  This realization changed my life.

It also scared me and has pushed me away from other believers because I now know that no matter how well somebody can say they are believing in Christ I can’t know if they are truly saved yet.  I guess I must trust in God, know that all people are my brothers and sisters and God will guide my fellowship truly.
