The Lord allowed satan to take a heck of a lot from Job.  He still blessed the Lord.  However he, in his lament, saw all of his belongings as things that defined him.  The Lord spoke to and with Job in order that He help him to see that those earthly things are dust.

In the end, The Lord doubled Jobs belongings.  Our faith is not to ask: how will God do something?  Our faith is to know that the how will work because it is God’s department.  We are to worry about today, plan sensibly, worship Him, and let his wisdom and love move us as we esteem others more highly than ourselves.  Putting God first in our plans and always being open to allow Him to adjust our schedules is important in a loving relationship with Our Creator.
